Please note that the IPMA guarantees the hotel a certain number of rooms under the room block. As we get closer we may need to add more rooms to the block to accommodate our group based on the number of attendees. When we do this, we add to our commitment and guarantee. Once you book your room reservation under the room block we have counted on you in our final numbers. If you book your room and then cancel, or decrease the length of your stay, you will be responsible for the charges. In 2019, we increased the room block to accommodate the large group and then had numerous people cancel their reservations or make last minute changes to their stay resulting in a $2,300 bill to the IPMA. Therefore, we have a new cancellation policy for 2022.

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY…PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

If you cancel, or change your hotel reservation after September 1st, 2022 you will be responsible for any charges the IPMA incurs from the hotel for your cancelled or reduced rooms. By making a room reservation under the IPMA room block you agree to pay any charges the IPMA incurs from the hotel as a result of your cancellation or reduction in number or rooms or nights of your stay.
